Counselling with Victoria Trench

Located in the peaceful rooms at the Quaker Meeting House on Friars Walk

I am a person centred counsellor, located in beautiful rooms in the centre of the old town of Lewes, Sussex.

I work in person with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, grief, loss and trauma. It takes a lot to reach out for help especially if you are feeling vulnerable or particularly low. As a person-centred counsellor the relationship is at the heart of the work that we do together and I take the trust placed in me and the commitment to work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions very seriously (https://www.bacp.co.uk/events-and-resources/ethics-and-standards/ethical-framework-for-the-counselling-professions/)

Counselling is essentially two human beings sitting together in a room talking about personal, intimate and sometimes distressing thoughts, feelings and experiences. The framework’s values and principles (respect, integrity, confidentiality, accountability) create a structure around the private space in which counselling takes place – the step into it should feel safe and secure.
